Ranjit has experience in the mental health field, with representation going back more than 25 years. His experience covers all matters, both civil and forensic and he enjoys an excellent reputation which has been built up over 2 decades of representation in this specialist area of law, representing clients in psychiatric units both in the NHS and private sector. He continues his guest lecturer status at DeMontfort University on the Medical Law and Ethics LLM course, as well as at the School of Nursing. He has been recognised in the past with the following awards; Local heroes award and the Law society solicitor and firm of the year award.
His commitment to pro bono and chartable causes remains ongoing as he is one of the founding trustees of the UK Friends of Unique Home (Punjab). He is also committed to raising awareness in the mental health field, offering support in the past to Samaritans in Leicester, sanctuary room at the Bradgate Unit and other charitable efforts. More recently, the firm has committed to supporting the work of the South Leicestershire Foodbank and the excellent work that they continue to do. This commitment remains ongoing.
