Leicestershire Law Society is delighted to announce they are supporting Leicester Charity Link’s upcoming Foodbank Collection Day. The day will be part of the Foodbank Pilot Scheme, aiming to provide food donations to disadvantaged members of the local community.
Solicitor Ranjit Thaliwal of Thaliwal Bridge, who was recently elected President of Leicestershire Law Society, welcomes all donations and particularly asks local businesses to encourage their employees to bring in food items on the designated day, which you will need to deliver to the collection point.
The collection point for donations is St Martin’s House, 7 Peacock Lane, Leicester, LE1 5PZ, which will be open between 9am – 12pm on Friday 28th June 2013.

- Long life milk
- Pasta sauces
- Tinned soup
- Tinned fish
- Lentils
- Small bottles of cooking oil
- Sugar
- Tea
- Coffee
